736 FNUS63 KABR 222022 RFDABR Rangeland Fire Danger Statement National Weather Service Aberdeen SD 322 PM CDT Sun Sep 22 2024 .DISCUSSION... Dry weather will continue as we reside between an exiting ridge of high pressure, and a nearing trough of low pressure moving across the western Dakotas Monday morning. This trough bring a cold front, and our next 30 percent chance of light rain showers, to central South Dakota Monday afternoon and to mainly eastern South Dakota and western Minnesota Monday evening. A wetting rain of a tenth of an inch is not expected, with mainly dry weather continuing. Winds will increase out of the south ahead of the cold front on Monday, with the strongest winds 10 to 20 mph between the Missouri River and I-29 in eastern South Dakota. Relative humidity values will fall into the 30 percent range Monday afternoon, and be closer to 25 percent over south central South Dakota.
