...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CORSON...
NORTHWESTERN POTTER...EASTERN DEWEY AND SOUTHWESTERN WALWORTH
COUNTIES THROUGH 145 AM CDT/1245 AM MDT/...

At 1253 AM CDT/1153 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
strong thunderstorms 7 miles southeast of Ridgeview, or 25 miles east
of Eagle Butte, moving northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Swiftbird, Akaska, Tiospaye Topa School, Promise, New Everets Resort,
Swan Creek Rec Area, Swiftbird Day School, Laplant, Blackfoot,
Ridgeview, and Lake Oahe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT/500 AM
MDT/ for north central South Dakota.
