Shower and thunderstorm chances increase from north central to south
central SD this afternoon, with precipitation chances spreading
eastward tonight through the overnight. A few of these thunderstorms
could become strong to severe this afternoon and evening, mainly over
south central SD. The main threats include hail, up the size of
quarters, and wind gusts of 60 mph. Showers and thunderstorms
continue for Saturday, mainly east of the Missouri River, ending west
to east through the day.

Highs for today will range in the 80s with overnight lows in the
lower to mid 60s. Highs for Saturday will be in the mid to upper 80s,
around and west of the Missouri River and mid to upper 70s to low
80s east of here.
