...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM AKDT THIS EVENING THROUGH LATE
SUNDAY NIGHT FOR KODIAK ISLAND...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Kodiak Island, including Kodiak City.

* WHEN...From 10 PM AKDT this evening through late Sunday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Landslides may be possible in areas of steep terrain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - A prolonged period of rain is forecast across Kodiak Island.
    Total rainfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches are anticipated. Rain
    may be heavy at times. With the ground already saturated from
    previous bouts of rain, flooding of streams and rivers will
    remain possible.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
