.DISCUSSION...
A series of thermal troughs will bring widely scattered and
isolated thunderstorms for most of the Interior today and Fri. On
Fri widely scattered thunderstorms between Ambler south to McGrath
and along the AK range will be present. These storms have the
potential to bring a quarter to a half inch of rain as they will
be slow moving in a semi-moist environment. Sat and Sun hotter and
drier conditions under the high will cause near red flag
conditions except winds will likely staying below 15 mph.
Convection near the thermal trough on Sat east of Salcha will also
bring isolated PM thunderstorms.
