.DISCUSSION...Widely scattered thunderstorms are expected this evening, which
may be enhanced by any pyrocumulus development over the fire. Slightly warmer
and drier conditions are expected Saturday and Sunday as the ridge of high
pressure aloft restrengthens. Only isolated thunderstorms are expected over the
weekend beneath the strong ridge. Wind in the valleys will generally be light and
variable after west winds calm this evening. Ridgetop winds will be significantly
stronger than valley winds. Expect continued very smokey conditions and low
visibility.
