...DENSE SMOKE ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT AKDT
TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Visibility less than one mile in dense smoke.

* WHERE...Along the Richardson Highway between Salcha and Birch
  Lake.

* WHEN...Until midnight AKDT Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
  Dense smoke will have health affects on people with respiratory
  illness.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The dense smoke is expected to remain south
  of Eielson AFB. Smoke will thin some in the afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons with respiratory illnesses should remain indoors to avoid
inhaling smoke. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and
leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
