FOR NORTHWESTERN PASQUOTANK...NORTHWESTERN PERQUIMANS...SOUTHEASTERN
GATES AND NORTHWESTERN CHOWAN COUNTIES...

At 107 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Hobbsville, or
near Ryland, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Pasquotank, northwestern Perquimans, southeastern Gates
and northwestern Chowan Counties, including the following
locations... Gliden, Lynchs Corner, Peach, Whiteston, Parkville,
Nicanor, Carter, Icaria, Smithtown, and Sign Pine.
