This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut,
western Massachusetts, eastern New York and southern Vermont.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms remain possible through this
evening, potentially resulting in brief heavy downpours.

   Heat Advisory.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed portions of eastern New York
and western New England in a Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms
Thursday. While most storms will be capable of producing brief, heavy
downpours, stronger to severe storms will also be capable of
producing strong to damaging wind gusts Thursday afternoon and
evening. There is a chance for additional afternoon and evening
thunderstorms Friday through Monday. Supplementary heat advisories
may also be needed for some lower elevation areas Friday and Sunday.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
