...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SCHENECTADY...
CENTRAL ALBANY...SOUTHEASTERN SARATOGA AND NORTHWESTERN RENSSELAER
COUNTIES THROUGH 245 PM EDT...

At 219 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Rotterdam, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Clifton Park, Rotterdam, Cohoes,
Watervliet, Colonie, Mechanicville, Latham, Delmar, Guilderland,
Niskayuna, Menands, Berne, Voorheesville, Green Island, Waterford,
Altamont, and Loudonville.

People attending Amateur Radio Association Field Days should seek
safe shelter immediately!

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 90 between exits 6 and 25.
 Interstate 890 between exits 4b and 9.
 Interstate 87 between exits 24 and 7, and between exits 8A and 10.
 Interstate 787 between exits 5 and 9.
