...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL ULSTER AND WEST
CENTRAL DUTCHESS COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT...

At 558 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hurley, or near Kingston, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kingston, Rhinebeck, Hyde Park, Hurley, Fairview, Staatsburg,
Tillson, Port Ewen, High Falls, Esopus, Rosendale, Marbletown,
Rolling Meadows, Norrie Heights, Maple Hill, Hillside, Haviland,
Cottekill, Plutarch, and Kallops Corners.

This includes Interstate 87 near exit 19.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
