...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ULSTER AND SOUTHERN
DUTCHESS COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT EDT...
At 1116 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Napanoch, or near Ellenville, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Poughkeepsie, Beacon, New Paltz, Ellenville, Pawling, Wallkill, Hyde
Park, Plattekill, Pleasant Valley, Wappingers Falls, Highland,
Fishkill, Modena, High Falls, Kerhonkson, Tillson, Napanoch,
Fairview, Hopewell Junction, and Marlboro.
This includes Interstate 87 near exit 18.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
