...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN GREENE COUNTY
THROUGH 430 PM EDT...
At 403 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Milton, or near Saugerties, moving northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Asbury, Kiskatom, Mountain House, Blue Mountain, Quarryville,
Palenville, Alsen, Manorville, and Saxton.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
