...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL WASHINGTON COUNTY
THROUGH 415 PM EDT...

At 335 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Comstock, or 9 miles northeast of Hudson Falls, moving east at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Granville, Hartford, Comstock, Kingsbury, Mount Hope, Fort Ann,
Middle Granville, Braymer School, Smiths Basin, Adamsville, North
Granville, South Granville, Truthville, Raceville, West Pawlet,
Tripoli, West Granville, Slateville, East Hartford, and Slyboro.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
east central New York...and southern Vermont.
