...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL FULTON AND
NORTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM EDT...

At 458 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fort Plain, or near Canajoharie, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Gloversville, Johnstown, Fonda, Fort Plain, St. Johnsville, Ephratah,
Tribes Hill, Fultonville, Palatine Bridge, Nelliston, Auriesville,
Cook Corners, Church Corners, Charlesworth Corners, Sammonsville,
Mindenville, Hale Mills, East Stone Arabia, Eppie Corners, and Square
Barn Corners.

This includes Interstate 90 near exit 28.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for eastern New
York.
