...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of the Panhandle of Oklahoma, including the
  following county, Texas and the Panhandle of Texas, including the
  following counties, Hansford and Sherman.

* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
  remain closed due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1034 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated between 6 and 8 inches of rain have fallen across
    the warned area.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Goodwell and Texhoma.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
