pose a significant threat to boaters.

Lake Huron from Presque Isle Lt. to Sturgeon Point  MI 5NM off shore
to US/Canadian border...
Presque Isle Light to Sturgeon Pt MI Including Thunder Bay National
Marine Sanctuary...

At 618 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 22 nm north of Northern Lake Huron Buoy to near Middle
Island to 15 nm west of Alpena, moving east at 45 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Northern Lake Huron Buoy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
