Turtle Creek Near Austin 3NW affecting Mower County. .Heavy rain from Friday and Friday night has resulted in flooding along the Cedar River, Dobbins Creek, Turtle Creek. The flooding in the Austin area has closed Interstate 90 between Highway 56 and Oakland Avenue. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
