...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Minnesota, including the following
  county, Fillmore.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 753 AM CDT,doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned
    area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. US Highway
    63 is closed in and south of Spring Valley.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Spring Valley, Wykoff, Fountain, Fillmore, Washington,
    Carimona, Ostrander, Forestville State Park, Etna and
    Hamilton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
