...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT VERNON COUNTY THROUGH 800 PM
CDT...

At 728 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles east of New Albin, or 10 miles west of Viroqua, moving east at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Viroqua around 735 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Esofea, Red Mound,
Runge Hollow, County Roads B And Y, Liberty, Folsom, Bud, Retreat,
Fargo, and County Roads D And P.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
southeastern Minnesota.
