...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN CLAYTON AND EAST
CENTRAL FAYETTE COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM CDT...

At 738 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Volga, or 9 miles west of Elkader, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Elkader around 750 PM CDT.
  Farmersburg around 800 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Froelich, Motor,
Wadena, Osborne, County Roads B 56 And X 16, Clayton Center, Gunder,
St. Olaf, Highway 56 And County W 70, and Highland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
