...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS IN FAR SOUTHEASTERN MINNESOTA AND
NORTHEAST IOWA, ENTERING WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN...

At 655 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Fountain City to about Cresco Iowa.
Movement was northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and torrential brief rain of up to
         1 inch. Isolated hail to penny sized.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Winona, Preston, Goodview, Fountain City, Lanesboro, and Stockton
  around 700 PM CDT.
  Rushford and Harmony around 705 PM CDT.
  Canton around 720 PM CDT.
  Trempealeau and Galesville around 730 PM CDT.
  Houston around 740 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Forestville State
Park, Camp Decorah, Isinours, Quandahl, Riceford, Fillmore, County
Roads 28 And 31, Sattre, Beaver Creek Valley State Park, and Rushford
Village.

This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 231 and
276.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
northeastern Iowa...southeastern Minnesota...and west central
Wisconsin.
