...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN ALLAMAKEE...
NORTHEASTERN WINNESHIEK...SOUTHERN HOUSTON AND SOUTHEASTERN FILLMORE
COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM CDT...

At 640 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Spring Grove, or 11 miles southwest of Caledonia, moving east at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Allamakee, northeastern Winneshiek, southern Houston and southeastern
Fillmore Counties, including the following locations... County 16 And
4 Corners Drive, County Roads A 26 And X 6 A, Hesper, Highlandville,
Quandahl, County 5 And Peyton Road, Locust, Sattre, Newhouse, and Dun
Romin Park Campground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northeastern Iowa...southeastern Minnesota...and west central
Wisconsin.
