The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. This storm produced wind damage in the New Albin
Iowa area.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN VERNON AND NORTHERN CRAWFORD COUNTIES...

At 512 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southwest of
Viroqua, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This storm produced 1 inch hail in DeSoto.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Vernon and northern Crawford Counties, including the
following locations... Horrigan Ridge, Red Mound, Rush Creek, Folsom,
Mount Zion, Fairview, and Petersburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
