Look for abundant sunshine and warm temperatures today across the
Northern Plains. Afternoon highs are expected to range from the
mid 70s in the northern Red River Valley to the lower 90s in
southeast Montana. This evening and overnight a few strong to
severe storms could develop from northeast Montana into western
and central North Dakota.

Monday looks to be the warmest day for much of the Northern
Plains, with highs mostly in the mid 80s to mid 90s. It will also
be humid across the central and eastern Dakotas as well as
Minnesota. Chances for severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon and
evening will mainly be focused from the James River Valley into
northern and central Minnesota.

The rest of the work week will bring seasonable temperatures with
hit and miss thunderstorm chances through mid-week, with better
chances for showers and thunderstorms Thursday into Friday.
