A few isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible across the region through this morning. Another round of showers and thunderstorms could then be found this afternoon through tonight. Severe thunderstorms are possible today in the eastern Dakotas and across much of Minnesota. Temperatures today will be mainly in the 80s, and with some lower 90s in South Dakota. Breezy northwest winds will also be found today, mainly in the Dakotas. Showers and thunderstorms become more isolated for Thursday, with temperatures expected to be slightly cooler. Widespread shower and thunderstorm chances are forecast Friday night and into the weekend, with temperatures in the 70s and 80s. Breezy winds may also be found at times to end the week and on through the weekend. $$
