...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN SIOUX...EASTERN
HETTINGER...WEST CENTRAL MORTON...GRANT AND SOUTHEASTERN ADAMS
COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM CDT/400 PM MDT/...

At 421 PM CDT/321 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles west of Heart Butte
Dam to 5 miles south of New Leipzig to 4 miles northeast of North
Lemmon. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Elgin and New Leipzig around 325 PM MDT.
  Heart Butte Dam around 330 PM MDT.
  Carson around 345 PM MDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Heil, Burt, Leith,
Lark, and Bentley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT/800 PM
MDT/ for southwestern North Dakota.
