Issued at 1138 PM MDT Tue Jun 25 2024 There are still some weak outflow boundaries around, which are keeping winds from settling a drainage direction. Expect southerly winds to set up 06-07Z or sooner at APA and DEN. These southerly winds will be short lived. There is a boundary tracking southwestward that just entered far northeast Colorado. This will bring a wind shift to the north/northeast overnight, in the 09-10Z time frame. The airmass behind this boundary is much more moist. Low clouds are expected to form over parts of the northeast plains. There`s roughly and 30-40 percent chance the Denver area sees low clouds. For the TAF will keep the FEW010, for the chance at seeing low clouds Wednesday morning, after 12Z. With better moisture in place, showers and thunderstorms will be more common Wednesday afternoon. Will keep the tempo for thunderstorms in the TAF beginning Wednesday 21Z at DEN and APA, 20Z at BJC. There stronger storms will be capable of producing heavy rain, hail, and outflow winds. * * * * * Southeast Colorado * * * * * METAR K4BM 261055Z AUTO 17007KT 10SM CLR 14/00 A3068 RMK AO2 METAR K4BM 261035Z AUTO 19005KT 10SM CLR 15/00 A3067 RMK AO2 METAR K4BM 261015Z AUTO 19007KT 10SM CLR 15/00 A3067 RMK AO2 METAR KAFF 261055Z 34009KT 10SM SCT140 15/04 A3023 RMK AO2A SLP130 T01480039 SPECI KAFF 261040Z COR 35007KT 10SM BKN140 15/04 A3023 RMK AO2A SLP130 COR 1044 SPECI KAFF 261025Z COR 35009KT 10SM BKN140 15/04 A3023 RMK AO2A SLP130 COR 1044 KCOS 260529Z 2606/2706 31010KT P6SM BKN150 FM261600 15012KT P6SM SCT120 FM270000 18012G22KT P6SM OVC100 TEMPO 2700/2702 P6SM -TSRA BKN050CB FM270300 13010KT P6SM OVC250 METAR KCOS 261054Z 03005KT 10SM SCT120 19/04 A3022 RMK AO2 SLP125 T01890039 METAR KCOS 260954Z VRB04KT 10SM BKN120 21/04 A3022 RMK AO2 SLP120 T02110044 METAR KCOS 260854Z 29005KT 10SM BKN120 22/04 A3022 RMK AO2 SLP120 T02170044 56004 METAR KABH 261055Z AUTO 05004KT 10SM FEW160 17/03 A3020 RMK AO2 SLP138 T01730028 METAR KABH 260955Z AUTO 35005KT 10SM SCT130 18/03 A3020 RMK AO2 SLP136 T01800027 METAR KABH 260855Z AUTO 36005KT 10SM BKN130 BKN160 18/03 A3020 RMK AO2 SLP136 T01820025 58003 METAR KFLY 261055Z AUTO 35003KT 10SM CLR 18/02 A3029 RMK AO2 T01770020 METAR KFLY 261035Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 19/02 A3028 RMK AO2 T01940024 METAR KFLY 261015Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM SCT120 19/03 A3028 RMK AO2 T01870030 KFCS 260620Z 2606/2711 33009KT 9999 SCT140 QNH3015INS BECMG 2607/2608 VRB06KT SKC 9999 QNH3017INS BECMG 2616/2617 07012KT 9999 SCT110 QNH3007INS BECMG 2620/2621 15010G15KT 9999 SCT110 510009 QNH3000INS TEMPO 2620/2703 15020G35KT -TSRA BKN110CB BECMG 2702/2703 15009KT 9999 SCT075 BKN110 QNH3002INS BECMG 2707/2708 VRB06KT 9999 SCT100 QNH3001INS TX36/2622Z TN17/2612Z METAR KFCS 260955Z AUTO 26011KT 10SM SCT130 BKN150 24/01 A3014 RMK AO2 SLP108 T02410010 $ METAR KFCS 260855Z AUTO 26006KT 10SM BKN160 26/03 A3015 RMK AO2 SLP111 T02590025 55003 $ METAR KFCS 260755Z AUTO 32010KT 10SM OVC130 21/02 A3015 RMK AO2 SLP119 T02130020 $ KPUB 260529Z 2606/2706 34008KT P6SM SKC FM261600 15010KT P6SM SCT120 FM270000 12014G24KT P6SM OVC100 TEMPO 2700/2703 VRB25G35KT -TSRA BKN050CB FM270400 03011G20KT P6SM OVC250 METAR KPUB 261053Z AUTO 25003KT 10SM CLR 19/08 A3008 RMK AO2 SLP108 T01940078 METAR KPUB 260953Z AUTO 26004KT 10SM CLR 21/05 A3008 RMK AO2 SLP106 T02060050 METAR KPUB 260853Z AUTO 33011KT 10SM CLR 23/05 A3008 RMK AO2 SLP103 T02280050 56003 METAR KVTP 261055Z AUTO 11005KT 10SM CLR 15/M02 A3065 RMK AO2 METAR KVTP 261035Z AUTO 11005KT 10SM CLR 15/M02 A3065 RMK AO2 METAR KVTP 261015Z AUTO 10005KT 10SM CLR 13/M01 A3066 RMK AO2 METAR KTAD 261054Z AUTO 26012KT 10SM CLR 19/03 A3016 RMK AO2 SLP111 T01890033 METAR KTAD 260954Z AUTO 26011KT 10SM CLR 19/04 A3016 RMK AO2 SLP111 T01890039 METAR KTAD 260854Z AUTO 26011KT 10SM CLR 18/04 A3017 RMK AO2 SLP114 T01830039 50001 METAR KLHX 261053Z AUTO 30011KT 10SM CLR 21/06 A3004 RMK AO2 SLP098 T02060061 METAR KLHX 260953Z AUTO 25006KT 10SM CLR 21/06 A3003 RMK AO2 SLP094 T02060056 METAR KLHX 260853Z AUTO 30008KT 10SM CLR 21/06 A3002 RMK AO2 SLP089 T02110056 58003 METAR KLAA 261053Z AUTO VRB03KT 10SM CLR 17/08 A2999 RMK AO2 SLP093 T01720083 METAR KLAA 260953Z AUTO 22004KT 10SM CLR 18/09 A2996 RMK AO2 SLP084 T01830089 METAR KLAA 260853Z AUTO 28004KT 10SM CLR 19/08 A2995 RMK AO2 SLP078 T01890083 58004 Sunrise/Sunset for 06/26/2024 Burlington - 05:24:27 MDT / 20:19:49 MDT Pueblo - 05:37:06 MDT / 20:25:57 MDT Lamar - 05:29:38 MDT / 20:17:24 MDT Pueblo (KPUX) 06/26/24 10:55 UTC Radar VAD winds Height Dir/Spd(kt) 11000 FT MSL...094/005 10900 FT MSL...087/004 10000 FT MSL...062/010 9700 FT MSL...075/010 9000 FT MSL...081/011 8600 FT MSL...085/011 8000 FT MSL...074/015 7800 FT MSL...073/014 7100 FT MSL...062/016 7000 FT MSL...069/016 6300 FT MSL...057/016 6000 FT MSL...051/021 5900 FT MSL...051/021 5700 FT MSL...042/021 Pueblo Aviation Discussion Issued at 0955 UTC Wednesday, June 26, 2024 .AVIATION /06Z TAFS THROUGH 06Z THURSDAY/... Issued at 353 AM MDT Wed Jun 26 2024 There is a better chance for TSRA at all three terminals today and will carry this in a tempo group at all three TAF sites. Best chance will be after 23z. Winds at KCOS and KPUB will shift from the east to southeast this afternoon at 10-20 kts before thunderstorm outflows dominate winds during the late afternoon and evening. KALS will see more south to southwesterly winds today prior to thunderstorm development. Winds will become light and variable at KALS overnight but become east to southeasterly at KCOS and KPUB. Most areas will stay VFR overnight but will need to monitor the westward transport of low level moisture into the mountains as some MVFR to IFR stratus could develop for KCOS and KPUB with upslope flow if sufficient moisture return occurs. -KT * * * * * Northwest Colorado * * * * * METAR KCAG 261053Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 09/08 A3024 RMK AO2 SLP170 T00890078 METAR KCAG 260953Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 10/09 A3024 RMK AO2 SLP162 T01000089 METAR KCAG 260853Z AUTO 22003KT 10SM CLR 11/09 A3024 RMK AO2 SLP164 T01060089 55002 METAR KHDN 261056Z AUTO 11011KT 10SM CLR 13/08 A3028 RMK AO2 SLP166 T01280078 METAR KHDN 260956Z AUTO 09009KT 10SM CLR 12/09 A3027 RMK AO2 SLP166 T01220089 METAR KHDN 260856Z AUTO 11009KT 10SM CLR 13/09 A3027 RMK AO2 SLP164 T01280094 58005 METAR KSBS 261055Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 09/09 A3029 RMK AO1 T00870087 METAR KSBS 261035Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 08/08 A3028 RMK AO1 T00830083 METAR KSBS 261015Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 09/09 A3029 RMK AO1 T00910091 METAR KC07 261055Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 11/04 A3057 RMK AO2 METAR KC07 261035Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 12/03 A3057 RMK AO2 METAR KC07 261015Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 11/04 A3057 RMK AO2 METAR KEEO 261053Z AUTO 06003KT 10SM CLR 10/07 A3024 RMK AO2 SLP155 T01000067 METAR KEEO 260953Z AUTO 05004KT 10SM CLR 11/07 A3024 RMK AO2 SLP152 T01060072 METAR KEEO 260853Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 13/08 A3024 RMK AO2 SLP148 T01280078 55000 METAR K20V 261055Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 07/06 A3040 RMK AO2 METAR K20V 261035Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 07/07 A3039 RMK AO2 METAR K20V 261015Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 07/07 A3039 RMK AO2 METAR KGNB 261055Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 06/M11 A3043 RMK AO2 T00581115 METAR KGNB 261035Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 06/M12 A3043 RMK AO2 T00631120 METAR KGNB 261015Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 07/M11 A3043 RMK AO2 T00651112 METAR K0CO 261055Z AUTO 30005KT CLR 09/00 A3074 RMK AO2 PWINO METAR K0CO 261035Z AUTO 29008KT CLR 10/00 A3074 RMK AO2 PWINO METAR K0CO 261015Z AUTO 16004KT CLR 10/00 A3074 RMK AO2 PWINO METAR KC99 261053Z AUTO 31004KT 10SM CLR 13/00 A3061 RMK AO2 METAR KC99 261033Z AUTO 32003KT 10SM CLR 13/00 A3060 RMK AO2 METAR KC99 261013Z AUTO 32006KT 10SM CLR 13/00 A3060 RMK AO2 KGJT 260520Z 2606/2706 07010KT P6SM FEW140 FM261200 14007KT P6SM VCSH SCT120 FM261900 20010G20KT P6SM VCSH BKN110 FM262100 26012G27KT P6SM VCTS SCT110CB BKN150 METAR KGJT 261053Z AUTO 13006KT 10SM CLR 24/09 A3008 RMK AO2 SLP100 T02390089 METAR KGJT 260953Z AUTO 08004KT 10SM CLR 25/09 A3007 RMK AO2 SLP095 T02500089 METAR KGJT 260853Z AUTO 12003KT 10SM CLR 26/09 A3006 RMK AO2 SLP090 T02610094 58002 KRIL 260520Z 2606/2706 12006KT P6SM FEW120 SCT250 FM261800 24008KT P6SM VCSH BKN110 FM262100 22015G27KT P6SM VCTS BKN100CB METAR KRIL 261053Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 16/09 A3017 RMK AO2 SLP138 T01560094 METAR KRIL 260953Z AUTO 12005KT 10SM CLR 17/08 A3017 RMK AO2 SLP139 T01720083 METAR KRIL 260853Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 18/09 A3017 RMK AO2 SLP131 T01780089 51004 METAR K5SM 261055Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 15/M01 A3061 RMK AO2 METAR K5SM 261035Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 15/M02 A3061 RMK AO2 METAR K5SM 261015Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 15/M02 A3062 RMK AO2 KEGE 260520Z 2606/2706 11005KT P6SM SCT100 FM261900 25010G20KT P6SM VCSH SCT100 FM262200 23012G25KT P6SM VCTS SCT100CB BKN200 METAR KEGE 261056Z AUTO 13003KT 10SM CLR 12/07 A3033 RMK AO2 SLP164 T01170067 PNO $ METAR KEGE 260956Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 12/07 A3032 RMK AO2 SLP161 T01220072 PNO $ METAR KEGE 260856Z AUTO 12003KT 10SM CLR 13/07 A3032 RMK AO2 SLP160 6//// T01330067 50004 PNO $ KASE 260520Z 2606/2706 20006KT P6SM FEW100 FM261800 33005KT P6SM VCSH BKN100 FM262200 22010G25KT P6SM VCTS SCT080CB BKN090 METAR KASE 261053Z 00000KT 10SM CLR 11/04 A3036 RMK AO2 SLP147 T01110044 METAR KASE 260953Z 10SM CLR 12/05 A3035 RMK AO2 SLP147 T01170050 METAR KASE 260853Z VRB04KT 10SM SCT100 13/05 A3036 RMK AO2 SLP143 T01280050 56003 METAR KCCU 261055Z AUTO 18007KT 10SM CLR 13/01 A3072 RMK AO2 METAR KCCU 261035Z AUTO 18007KT 10SM CLR 15/01 A3071 RMK AO2 METAR KCCU 261015Z AUTO 19006KT 10SM CLR 15/01 A3072 RMK AO2 METAR KLXV 261053Z AUTO 18003KT 10SM CLR 07/02 A3053 RMK AO2 SLP148 T00720022 METAR KLXV 260953Z AUTO 06003KT 10SM CLR 07/03 A3052 RMK AO2 SLP149 T00670028 METAR KLXV 260853Z AUTO 07003KT 10SM CLR 09/03 A3053 RMK AO2 SLP141 T00940028 58002 Sunrise/Sunset for 06/26/2024 Rangely - 05:47:57 MDT / 20:48:22 MDT Grand Junction - 05:50:15 MDT / 20:44:15 MDT Steamboat Springs - 05:38:50 MDT / 20:41:49 MDT Grand Junction (KGJX) 06/26/24 10:58 UTC Radar VAD winds Height Dir/Spd(kt) 16000 FT MSL...279/014 15600 FT MSL...261/013 15000 FT MSL...274/012 14400 FT MSL...270/011 14000 FT MSL...271/010 13400 FT MSL...210/011 13000 FT MSL...206/010 12500 FT MSL...166/005 12000 FT MSL...136/005 11700 FT MSL...139/005 11000 FT MSL...112/005 11000 FT MSL...100/005 10400 FT MSL...294/008 10200 FT MSL...114/005 10100 FT MSL...296/006 Grand Junction Aviation Discussion Issued at 1106 UTC Wednesday, June 26, 2024 .AVIATION /12Z TAFS THROUGH 12Z THURSDAY/... Predominately VFR conditions across the region early this morning, excluding a small cluster of storms that are approaching KSEZ from the south. Assuming this cluster sustains itself, it`ll arrive to KFLG in the next couple hours but shouldn`t persist very long. Elsewhere high based -SHRA stretches from KCMR to east of KPGA. That shower activity will continue to diminish. Widely scattered TS will once again develop across the region after 18Z and persist until after 00Z. Heavier TS will produce isolated areas of sub VFR ceilings and visibilities. OUTLOOK...Thursday 27/12Z through Saturday 29/12Z...Expect mostly VFR conditions, excluding sub VFR conditions under afternoon TS that will once again develop Thursday afternoon. Drier weather returns Friday. Some light showers moving in from the southwest could bring some mid level clouds and breezy variable winds in the morning. These will transition to afternoon convection that will pose a threat for gusty and erratic winds, lightning, and heavy rain. .REST OF UTAH AND SOUTHWEST WYOMING...VFR conditions will prevail across the airspace. Light rain showers across western Utah will gradually transition east and dissipate. A brief lull in activity will give way to scattered afternoon convection across most of the region. These storms will pose a risk for gusty outflow winds, lightning, and heavy rain. * * * * * Wyoming * * * * * KEVW 260534Z 2606/2706 14006KT P6SM FEW150 FM261700 23007KT P6SM VCSH BKN100 FM261900 24012G24KT P6SM VCTS BKN100CB FM270300 21008KT P6SM BKN100= METAR KEVW 261053Z AUTO 04003KT 10SM BKN120 18/04 A3025 RMK AO2 SLP125 T01830039 METAR KEVW 260953Z AUTO 01007KT 10SM SCT120 19/03 A3025 RMK AO2 SLP124 T01890033 METAR KEVW 260853Z AUTO 01003KT 10SM CLR 19/03 A3026 RMK AO2 SLP128 T01940033 58007 KRKS 260520Z 2606/2706 VRB05KT P6SM SKC FM260900 08010KT P6SM SKC FM261900 25010G15KT P6SM SCT100 FM262200 25012G20KT P6SM VCTS BKN100CB FM270200 24011KT P6SM FEW100 METAR KRKS 261054Z AUTO 07011KT 10SM CLR 15/03 A3026 RMK AO2 SLP149 T01500028 METAR KRKS 260954Z AUTO 05009KT 10SM CLR 17/02 A3026 RMK AO2 SLP144 T01670022 METAR KRKS 260854Z AUTO 07008KT 10SM CLR 17/02 A3026 RMK AO2 SLP150 T01670017 56000 KRWL 260520Z 2606/2706 02007KT P6SM SKC FM261800 27013G25KT P6SM BKN100 FM270000 24010KT P6SM BKN100 METAR KRWL 261053Z AUTO 31006KT 10SM CLR 11/03 A3028 RMK AO2 SLP154 T01110028 METAR KRWL 260953Z AUTO 30008KT 10SM CLR 12/03 A3026 RMK AO2 SLP149 T01220028 METAR KRWL 260853Z AUTO 30010KT 10SM CLR 14/02 A3026 RMK AO2 SLP142 T01390022 50003 KLAR 260520Z 2606/2706 15008KT P6SM SKC FM261500 14015G25KT P6SM SCT100 FM270000 18015G25KT P6SM VCTS BKN060CB METAR KLAR 261053Z AUTO 23006KT 10SM CLR 11/04 A3030 RMK AO2 SLP137 T01060039 METAR KLAR 260953Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 13/04 A3029 RMK AO2 SLP130 T01330044 METAR KLAR 260853Z AUTO 14006KT 10SM CLR 15/05 A3029 RMK AO2 SLP122 T01500050 56001 KCYS 260520Z 2606/2706 33006KT P6SM SKC FM261500 15014G25KT P6SM SCT080 FM270000 16015G25KT P6SM VCTS BKN060CB METAR KCYS 261053Z AUTO 01005KT 10SM BKN005 14/13 A3026 RMK AO2 SLP152 T01440128 SPECI KCYS 261045Z AUTO 01006KT 10SM SCT007 14/13 A3026 RMK AO2 T01440128 METAR KCYS 260953Z AUTO 36007KT 10SM CLR 14/12 A3023 RMK AO2 SLP144 T01440122 Riverton (KRIW) 06/26/24 10:58 UTC Radar VAD winds Height Dir/Spd(kt) 12000 FT MSL...216/022 10000 FT MSL...124/017 10000 FT MSL...122/016 9000 FT MSL...115/022 8900 FT MSL...114/021 8200 FT MSL...111/023 8000 FT MSL...112/024 7400 FT MSL...112/025 7000 FT MSL...104/024 6700 FT MSL...106/024 6200 FT MSL...104/028 6000 FT MSL...105/029 6000 FT MSL...106/027 Cheyenne (KCYS) 06/26/24 10:59 UTC Radar VAD winds Height Dir/Spd(kt) 13000 FT MSL...006/020 12000 FT MSL...307/013 11700 FT MSL...305/012 11000 FT MSL...354/013 10500 FT MSL...358/007 10000 FT MSL...056/010 9500 FT MSL...068/012 9000 FT MSL...074/015 8600 FT MSL...079/015 8000 FT MSL...089/019 7900 FT MSL...090/018 7300 FT MSL...089/022 7000 FT MSL...078/018 6700 FT MSL...058/014 Riverton Aviation Discussion Issued at 1103 UTC Wednesday, June 26, 2024 .AVIATION /12Z TAFS THROUGH 12Z THURSDAY/... Issued at 503 AM MDT Wed Jun 26 2024 Shower and thunderstorm chances pick up this morning over western Wyoming. Chances spread eastward through the morning and afternoon. All sites have at least a 15% chance to see a shower or thunderstorm today. Locations with closer to 30% chances have PROB30 groups in the TAFs. KRKS is the most likely (50% to 60%) location to get convection today. Even if a place does not see a storm, outflows nearby may bring gusty winds of variable directions. Chances decrease this evening, with 10% to 15% chances lingering around KJAC and KRKS into the night. A shortwave brings increasing chances at the end of the TAF period and into Thursday morning. Please see the Aviation Weather Center and/or CWSU ZDV and ZLC for the latest information on smoke, icing, and turbulence forecasts. Issued at 457 AM MDT Wed Jun 26 2024 Watching a corridor of stratus develop across Yuma/Washington county in Colorado; some uncertainty whether or not this will stretch into the KGLD terminal but will monitor very closely. Have opted to go with a tempo of sct010 to show the potential for IFR conditions this morning. Stratus will be short lived as it should be completely gone by 15Z. Breezy winds around 15 knots with some sporadic gusts up to 20-25 knots will be present throughout the day. Potential for a cluster of storms to affect each terminal overnight into Thursday morning. Do have to overcome some dry air at KGLD so will mention the VCTS but if signals that the dry air isn`t as pronounced then a rain mention may be needed. Strong signal for stratus again Thursday morning especially for KMCK; KGLD is on the fringe of it so will again go with the SCT wording for the TAF at this time. Dodge City Aviation Discussion Issued at 1048 UTC Wednesday, June 26, 2024 .AVIATION /12Z TAFS THROUGH 12Z THURSDAY/... Issued at 544 AM CDT Wed Jun 26 2024 No major changes for the 12Z TAF period. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to move across west central and southwest Kansas, however probability of impact at individual terminals is still a bit too low for the forecast time range to include in this latest synoptic TAF, so we will give it one more 6-hr forecast cycle to refine the convective forecast with respect to placement and timing of the best chance of thunderstorm impact at terminals. Otherwise, outside of convection, winds will be easterly through the period with VFR flight category expected to continue. * * * * * Texas/Oklahoma * * * * * KGUY 260539Z 2606/2706 20005KT P6SM SKC FM261900 09012G22KT P6SM SKC FM270000 12014KT P6SM VCSH BKN200 FM270200 13009KT P6SM SCT200= METAR KGUY 261053Z AUTO 18004KT 10SM CLR 20/18 A2994 RMK AO2 SLP081 T02000178 METAR KGUY 260953Z AUTO 20004KT 10SM CLR 21/18 A2992 RMK AO2 SLP075 T02110183 METAR KGUY 260853Z AUTO 00000KT 10SM CLR 22/18 A2991 RMK AO2 SLP072 T02170183 56006 KDHT 260539Z 2606/2706 17011KT P6SM SKC FM262200 05012KT P6SM BKN200 PROB30 2622/2624 4SM TSRA OVC025CB FM270000 07012KT P6SM BKN200 PROB30 2700/2703 4SM TSRA OVC025CB FM270300 14010KT P6SM SCT200 METAR KDHT 261053Z AUTO 25003KT 10SM CLR 19/16 A3001 RMK AO2 SLP088 T01940156 METAR KDHT 260953Z AUTO 31005KT 10SM CLR 21/16 A3000 RMK AO2 SLP084 T02110156 METAR KDHT 260853Z AUTO 31003KT 10SM CLR 22/16 A2999 RMK AO2 SLP082 T02220156 58007 Amarillo (KAMA) 06/26/24 10:59 UTC Radar VAD winds Height Dir/Spd(kt) 15000 FT MSL...028/018 15000 FT MSL...028/018 14000 FT MSL...042/019 13000 FT MSL...048/016 12700 FT MSL...046/016 12000 FT MSL...038/014 11000 FT MSL...038/016 10800 FT MSL...039/016 10000 FT MSL...036/016 9300 FT MSL...019/013 9000 FT MSL...018/013 8100 FT MSL...001/013 8000 FT MSL...001/013 7100 FT MSL...327/012 7000 FT MSL...327/012 6200 FT MSL...283/013 6000 FT MSL...274/014 5500 FT MSL...257/017 5000 FT MSL...252/016 4800 FT MSL...235/015 4300 FT MSL...211/015 4000 FT MSL...188/013 4000 FT MSL...190/014 Amarillo Aviation Discussion Issued at 0942 UTC Wednesday, June 26, 2024 .AVIATION... (06Z TAFS) Issued at 1240 AM CDT Wed Jun 26 2024 Higher confidence is placed for DHT to receive thunderstorm activity later on this evening, so PROB30 groups have been issued to address these higher probabilities. For the other two sites, probabilities are not high enough at this time to anticipate impacts on flight rules. For the 06Z TAF period, VCSH will suffice at AMA and GUY since shower and possibly thunderstorm activity may occur in the vicinity of these sites during the evening hours of the day. Otherwise, VFR conditions prevail for the rest of the hours within the 06Z TAF period.
