Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
409 PM EDT Wed Jun 5 2024

.DISCUSSION...

A weak high builds further offshore today while a warm front
lifts into the Mid Atlantic. An upper disturbance could bring
isolated showers and thunderstorms to far northeast Massachusetts
this afternoon. The risk for more widespread showers and storms
comes Thursday as a frontal system moves through.

Minimum relative humidities range from 30 to 60 percent today. On
Thursday, minimum relative humidities range from 70 to
90 percent.

.OUTLOOK...Friday through Monday...

Unsettled late in the week and into the weekend. Hit-or-miss
showers or thunderstorms for Friday into this weekend and perhaps
into early next week. Temperatures trend near to above normal
during this period.
