Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
410 PM EDT Tue Jun 4 2024

.DISCUSSION...

High pressure brings mainly dry conditions through Wednesday,
although there is a low risk for an isolated shower or
thunderstorm developing this afternoon in the Berkshires. This
risk shifts each across the eastern half of southern New England
Wednesday.

Minimum relative humidity should be 30 to 50 percent Wednesday.

.OUTLOOK...Thursday through Sunday...

Our weather pattern changes to a cloudy and more unsettled
outlook Thursday and into this weekend. Thursday looks to be the
wettest day with showers and storms capable of localized
downpours, with more hit-or-miss showers or thunderstorms for
Friday into this weekend. Temperatures trend lower during this
portion of the forecast.
