...HEAVY SHOWERS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN KENEDY COUNTY THROUGH 445
PM CDT...

At 358 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking showers producing heavy
rainfall over Armstrong and along highway 77. These showers were
nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Torrential rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Torrential rain will reduce visibility below 1 mile and
         cause difficult driving conditions especially in poor
         drainage locations in Brownsville.

Locations impacted include...
Armstrong, Sarita, U S 77 Border Patrol Station, Kenedy County
Sheriffs Office, and Armstrong Ranch Airport.

This includes US Highway 77 between mile markers 714 and 740.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
