At 239 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Charlestown, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Chester, Springfield, Ascutney, Perkinsville Village, Weathersfield, Baltimore, North Springfield Lake Recreation Area, North Springfield, Weathersfield Bow, West Springfield, and Wilgus State Park.
