...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN FRANKLIN AND
SOUTHEASTERN ST. LAWRENCE COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 PM EDT...

At 1111 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles south of Star Lake, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Tupper Lake, Piercefield, Cranberry Lake, Horseshoe Lake, Gale,
Conifer, Childwold, Shurtleff, and Wanakena.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
