...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN FRANKLIN AND CENTRAL
ST. LAWRENCE COUNTIES THROUGH 1130 PM EDT...

At 1050 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 32 miles northwest of Massena to 13 miles north
of Ogdensburg to 16 miles west of Morristown. Movement was east at 55
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Potsdam, Massena, Gouverneur, Canton, Ogdensburg, Norfolk, Lisbon,
Louisville, Moira, De Kalb, Fowler, Parishville, Fort Covington,
Colton, Bombay, Morley, Massena International Airport - Richards
Field, Helena, Waddington, and Richville.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
