...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL JEFFERSON COUNTY THROUGH
115 PM EDT...
At 1231 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Stony Point, or 21 miles north of Sandy Island Beach State Park,
moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Watertown, Fort Drum, Stony Point, West Carthage, Dexter, Glen Park,
Herrings, Adams Center, Henderson Harbor, Sackets Harbor, Henderson,
Black River, Smithville, Philadelphia, Brownville, Theresa, Cape
Vincent, Chaumont, Evans Mills, and Deferiet.
This includes Interstate 81 between exits 42 and 49.
