WESTERN YELLOWSTONE...SOUTHERN GOLDEN VALLEY AND NORTHEASTERN SWEET
GRASS COUNTIES THROUGH 115 PM MDT...
At 1245 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles southwest of Ryegate, or 31 miles northeast of Big Timber,
moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Ryegate, Broadview, Lavina, Hailstone Wildlife Refuge, and Rapelje.
This advisory does not include the city of Billings.
