...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CUSTER COUNTY
THROUGH 230 AM MDT...

At 203 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 18
miles northeast of Volborg, or 33 miles southeast of Miles City,
moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Custer
County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
