...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO MIDNIGHT
MDT THURSDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 12
  and 18 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to midnight MDT Thursday Night.

* IMPACTS...Recreation in the high country could be impacted by
  heavy accumulating snow. Areas of blowing snow could significantly
  reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Clearing activities over the Beartooth
  Highway will be impacted.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation. If you
are going to the high country for recreation, be sure to let someone
know your plans in case you become stranded.

  reduce visibility.

  18 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...In Montana, Pryor/Northern Bighorn Mountains. In Wyoming,
  Northeast Bighorn Mountains.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Recreation in the high country could be impacted by
  heavy accumulating snow. Travel along Highway 14 could be very
  difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow could
  significantly reduce visibility.
