.DISCUSSION...High pressure will remain over the area with
increasing moisture as a weak tropical wave moves toward the coast
of eastern GA and northeast FL. This will spread moisture into the
burn area with cumulus developing in the late morning and a chance
of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Thunderstorms which
develop could produce gusty and erratic winds. Winds will be light
and variable through mid morning then as the inversion breaks
around 930 am become easterly around 5 mph with gusts to 12 mph.
Afternoon high temperatures will be around 92 with heat index
values pushing into the upper 90s during the mid afternoon to
early evening hours. An inversion will develop with sunset with
winds becoming light and variable overnight and mixing height
falling to 200 feet. Patchy fog is possible Friday night.
