...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern Lee and
Kershaw Counties through 500 PM EDT...

At 427 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lugoff, or 7 miles southwest of Camden, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Camden, Bishopville, Lake Wateree Dam, Lugoff, Elgin, Goodale State
Park, Lucknow, Dekalb, North Towne Square Shopping Center, Antioch,
Midway Elementary School, Pine Grove Fire Station, Woodward Airfield,
and Lake Wateree near Highway 97.

This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 86
and 110.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
