...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM EDT
FOR EASTERN HURON...ERIE AND SOUTHWESTERN LORAIN COUNTIES...

At 726 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northwest of
New London, or 8 miles southeast of Norwalk, moving northeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect damage to
         trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Elyria, Norwalk, Wellington, Wakeman, Oberlin, South Amherst,
Pittsfield, North Fairfield, Kipton, and Rochester.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
