SOUTHWESTERN LA SALLE COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM CDT...

At 431 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of Encinal, moving northwest at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Encinal, Artesia Wells, and Chaparral Wildlife Management Area.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 37 and 60.
 US Highway 83 between mile markers 668 and 670.
