National Weather Service State College PA
439 PM EDT Mon Jul 1 2024

A large area of high pressure with Canadian origin will bring a
clear and chilly night. The valleys of northern Pennsylvania will
see widespread fog late tonight and Tuesday morning as a result of
warmer stream temperatures and cool overnight readings. Lows at
daybreak Tuesday will vary from the mid and upper 40s over the
perennial cold spots of the Northern Mountains to the mid and
upper 50s in the Lower Susquehanna Valley and Greater Philadelphia
Area.

A gradual warmup will begin on Tuesday with humidity increasing
and temperatures rising several more degrees Wednesday through
Friday. Shower and thunderstorm chances return for Wednesday
night through the end of the week.
