...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN POTTER COUNTY
THROUGH 400 PM EDT...

At 328 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ulysses, or 16 miles southeast of Wellsville, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Genesee, Harrison Valley, and Ulysses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
