...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN TIOGA COUNTY THROUGH
745 PM EDT...

At 700 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 11 miles south of Corning to near Mansfield to
16 miles west of Wellsboro. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mansfield, Wellsboro, Morris, Blossburg, Covington, Arnot, Millerton,
Ogdensburg, Leonard Harrison State Park, Tioga, Roseville, and
Mansfield University.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
