Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
123 AM MDT Sat Jun 29 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Cooler temperatures today as the area is on the north side of a cold
front that moved through last evening. Cooler temperatures will result
in higher afternoon humidity in the 20s to low 30s for most areas.
Central Carbon County will be the exception where we will see mid teens
for afternoon humidity. Look for isolated afternoon thunderstorms for
our western mountains today. Upper high pressure begins to build back
into the area this afternoon with warmer temperatures resulting for
Sunday. Low level southeast winds expected for the Panhandle which
will bring in increasing low level moisture and increased chances for
storms Sunday and Monday afternoons and evenings.
