Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
236 AM MDT Fri Jun 21 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Widespread showers and thunderstorms expected once again Friday
afternoon across the area with wetting rainfall likely across much
of east-central WY into the NE panhandle. Temperatures will begin to
warm this weekend and headed into early next week to well above
average for late June. This will lead to elevated fire weather
conditions, especially west of the Laramie Range in Carbon and
Albany Co where afternoon RHs will regularly drop into the teens.
