Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
151 PM MDT Sat Sep 21 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Cooler temperatures this weekend are reducing fire weather concerns.
Gusty northerly winds from early today are gradually turning to the
northeast and then east this evening. The dominant direction will be
southerly by morning which will continue through Sunday, though RH
should remain above 25%. Unfortunately, the latest guidance
continues to trend southward with the rainfall tonight and tomorrow
morning, leaving just a slight chance for a few showers with wetting
rains highly unlikely right along the CO border. Warmer temperatures
with a westerly breeze will return for Monday across Wyoming.
