Hydrologic Statement

High water levels in the upper North Platte Rivers

 .Hydrologic Summary...
We are approaching the peak of snowmelt runoff for the year. Waters
in the upper North Platte River above Seminoe Dam are running high.
Both Rivers are at bankfull conditions. Please use caution
when on or near rivers and streams. High waters during snowmelt can
be cold and energetic and that increases the hazards in the event of
falling in. High waters can also make stream banks unstable.
