Hydrologic Statement
National Weather Service Cheyenne WY
158 PM MDT Tue Jun 4 2024

High water levels in the Encampment and upper North Platte Rivers

 .Hydrologic Summary...
We are approaching the peak of snowmelt runoff for the year. Waters
in the Encampment and upper North Platte Rivers above Seminoe Dam
are running high. Both Rivers are forecast to approach bankfull
conditions in the next 5 days. The Encampment River sooner than the
North Platte. Please use caution when on or near rivers and streams.
High waters during snowmelt can be cold and energetic and that
increases the hazards in the event of falling in. High waters can
also make stream banks unstable.
