Both Rivers are forecast to approach bankfull conditions in the next 5 days. The Encampment River sooner than the North Platte. Please use caution when on or near rivers and streams. High waters during snowmelt can be cold and energetic and that increases the hazards in the event of falling in. High waters can also make stream banks unstable.
